What is it about Demon Lords? Why are they the only evil worth fighting? I call propaganda.
Next damn fantasy/isekai anime and they better be going for the nobility and church. I want the hero to lead a peasant uprising!

@yon@sakurajima.moe Demon Kings are presented as chill guys ruling over many different species of 'demon' that the Human Kingdom and their near monoculture just don't like for whatever reason so often that I'm starting to wonder if perhaps some of those Japanese authors might be making some kind of commentary… Like, actually evil Demon Kings seem to be pretty thin on the ground right now. They're not common at all.
