@uvok@woof.tech @sequentialsnep@meow.social usually your stencil is a bit or a lot larger and gets clamped in a frame or just taped to the table, then the PCB is aligned for printing. That's very hard if you have no overhang on the stencil ^^

    @cato@chaosfurs.social @uvok@woof.tech @sequentialsnep@meow.social depends on how you order them (if the board house allows you to choose). stencil the same size as the board is commonly used for hand assembly (so they can be mounted in a v-groove clamp stacked together), while oversized stencils are usually made for machine assembly, since the paste robot needs somewhere outside the board area to hold the stencil in a stretch frame.
