Here's a basic desktop feature that should exist that I've never seen: a Do-Not-Disturb-while-typing.
Like, I'm mid-fucking-thought (and sentence) in this email and suddenly I get a message like "hey do you want me to pick up falafel on the way home?" Like, yeah, I want to see that message, but I want it delayed by 60 seconds so I can finish my thought/sentence before I start thinking about yummy food!

I can't express the frustration I feel on a daily basis when I'm trying to ignore my kid's random noises while finishing up an email to their doctor and then suddenly a message pops up and now I can't remember wtf I was going to say. Like, multiple times per day this happens.

@Andres4NY@social.ridetrans.it KDE has a DND feature, but you have to remember to turn it on and off... maybe a quick shortcut?
