If your access to something you find valuable can be taken away due to licensing BS, a webserver being shut down or abandoned, or the content owner deciding "nevermind," you should probably keep a local copy of it.
Save those recipes you use! Get physical copies of movies and shows you rewatch! Back up a DRM free copy of your favorite game! All these things can go poof and we've all (myself included) gotten too reliant on their continued availability by 3rd parties
