The steam frame sounds cool but I need to think more on it before I decide to waste my money. Hopefully I don't get punished for not jumping immediately

Lmao my 11:59 flight to Vegas is now going back to the gate at 1:59. Flight's not cancelled but they're telling us pretty much every route out of Newark is closed.

We got garlic knots from our usual pizza place for once, and I was under the impression they were the average, run-of-the-mill garlic knots. I was wrong. These things were huge, soft, garlicky as hell and delicious. My god, I can't stop thinking of them. I'm resisting the urge to just place an order of only garlic knots.

Highly recommend looking into Korean sunscreens if you know you should be wearing sunscreen daily but find US products a hassle because they're uncomfortable. I'm sure this isn't the first time you've heard this but a few days into using them I'm definitely a fan

Finally got around to swapping out the motherboard on my 3D printer. Unfortunately my issue seems to remain. I suspect, based on the fact that it keeps getting stuck in the corner, that the USB cable linking the printhead is damaged from repeated bending. There are other reports of this failing, so that's my next best guess.

If your access to something you find valuable can be taken away due to licensing BS, a webserver being shut down or abandoned, or the content owner deciding "nevermind," you should probably keep a local copy of it. Save those recipes you use! Get physical copies of movies and shows you rewatch! Back up a DRM free copy of your favorite game! All these things can go poof and we've all (myself included) gotten too reliant on their continued availability by 3rd parties

So I had my first experience "vibe coding" today; my boss has an Excel sheet report that needs to be matched and updated week to week, and it was a manual job. I figured I'd just see how far this vibe coding stuff could automate it by writing a Python script. To my surprise it was pretty capable. Yes, it did some stupid stuff like hard coding and simple errors, but simply telling it the output is enough for it to fix things. Did it take probably a good 30 min to an hour to build?...

Anyone know the resolution to this issue? I have a work profile set up on my Android phone with Teams, Outlook, etc. However, this sandboxes them away from Android Auto, except if I enable a certain flag to access notifications from the Work profile. BUT! It is a severely limited view of Teams; just my notifications and that's it. No calendar to join and I suspect it doesn't even let me control a meeting call if I join. Kind of a big freaking deal. My only guess is I need to install T...

God dammit, almost fell for a Steam phish. I had someone add me with an account that mimicked one of my online friends and it looked legit enough that I added them assuming they were weird and either accidentally deleted me or were making an alt. Well the account tried to get me to sign up for some sort of (likely fake) counterstrike match and I don't play. They pushed me to sign up just so they could qualify but I told them I wasn't going to. Then today they messaged again but with a...

Ughhh. It's my first year trying to grow seedlings and after a good start I'm struggling to keep them alive. I think I over watered them, then I tried to let them dry out since they seemed stressed by the water, and now it seems that they're dry. ๐
