The Pittsburgh Fourth of July celebrations are currently in suspended animation, with the fireworks theoretically set to start in 90 minutes.
I get why the city doesn't want to shut it down, but there's now a 50% chance of thunderstorms from 9pm-11pm, so I think it might be time to call it.
Heat shut down the Anthrocon furry parade and the Fourth of July parade in DC, too. Feels kinda like Someone's trying to send a message. 👀

The celebrations are going forward. A bold move. I'm not sure I want to sit in the rain, even for really good fireworks.
