  It’s not snowing here but I received a text from someone older than I am saying it’s snowing with exclamation points. I didn’t answer because I thought, all my life it’s been snowing in April and all my life people have acted surprised by it. It’s more interesting as a human phenomenon than it is as a weather phenomenon

  You might think that because we had a few good snows and rains in the last few months our drought is over. But it was a two year drought before that and right now the soil is very dry and there’s no rain in the ten day forecast. And the official map still shows us in moderate #drought.
