@sar@social.elderlogs.net I don't mind Discord and much prefer it over the forum stuff. I don't like Discord as a company however.
To me, all social media is just not as fun as it once used to be. Specifically back in the IRC days and then the Google+ days. Since then, social media just sucks for the most part.

@cliffwade@infosec.exchange Yeah, I hear you there. Twitter when it was good was probably the best social media ever got. Mind you Masto and the Fediverse are pretty nice too. They have their limitations (they'll never be as big as the more centralised options, reach on smaller servers is an issue, as examples), but it's definitely the best usable option these days.
