  So I got a new 4K QD-OLED monitor yesterday. It's been challenging to get it to play nice with Linux. I'm currently using Gnome 50, and getting it to play nice with different scaling on my now 3 monitors (1080/1440/2160) has been a challenge. WoW at 4K looks REALLY crisp though 😄

  Man, running this masto server can be more hassle than it's worth at times. Just spent the better part of 2hrs fixing the install, having to destroy it completely and restore from backup (thank god), because Yunohost crashed during the upgrade from 4.5.7 to 4.5.8. Guess I'll give it another go now...

  And that's Mastodon upgraded now to 4.5.8. I think I'll run future upgrades from the console, rather than rely on the apparently unreliable and janky Yunohost web admin console...

Hell no. It tried to do too much and was a bit all over the place narratively, but it was very enjoyable nonetheless, at the very least to see elements of WoW on the (very) big screen I'll most likely pick up the steelbook, just for the sake of it.

  Tonight, we stepped into Mythic for our first kills of the season in week 2, and not only did we kill the first boss in Voidspire, we also killed Chimaerus, the single boss in Dreamrift and as a result ended up in Hall of Fame! This is my first HoF kill too - so stoked! #WorldOfWarcraft #Midnight

Yet to use it in a raid, for which I'm still relying on X11 and XFCE, but Wayland and proton seem to be playing nice together finally with #WorldOfWarcraft 😃 Other games, such as Steam and Heroic launcher all seem to be working grand too, so I don't ever see any need to go ba...
