I quite like Discourse, but I am an old forum-head from back in the day, with vBulletin and phpbb etc.
I prefer it certainly to Discord, which I use grudgingly.

@sar@social.elderlogs.net I was huge huge into forums, back in the early 2000's. Today, they are horrible and I can't stand them. Discourse is just forums behind a GUI, which is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen in my 40+ years of using computers.
