Debian 13 (Trixie) household installation progress:
- ✅ plinth (canary machine)
- ✅ quieter3ctv-403 (living room home theater/Kodi box)
- ✅ aquitaneng (desktop/gaming machine)
- ✅ with the release of kernel 6.12.41 by the Debian security team this morning¹ ² the xe driver and thus my B580 GPU is working again!
- ✅ Bluetooth (mt7925e) is flaky (it was before). Got a rtl8761 dongle.
- ✖️ sundial (household catch-all service server)

Debian 13 (Trixie) household installation progress: I should have installed that new TP-Link rtl8761 dongle _ages_ ago. It works so much better. Even the speed with which devices re-pair after suspend/resume is noticeably better. It also feels like some kind of magic that I can run a complete OS version upgrade, swap kernels around, reboot a few times... and when I'm done, my mpd music daemon picks up _exactly_ where it left off, in the same second of the same track of the same playlist. ❤️
