Debian 13 (Trixie) household installation progress:
I should have installed that new TP-Link rtl8761 dongle _ages_ ago. It works so much better. Even the speed with which devices re-pair after suspend/resume is noticeably better.
It also feels like some kind of magic that I can run a complete OS version upgrade, swap kernels around, reboot a few times... and when I'm done, my mpd music daemon picks up _exactly_ where it left off, in the same second of the same track of the same playlist. ❤️

Debian 13 (Trixie) household installation progress: As of a couple of weeks ago, stable-backports now includes kernel 6.16.3. This is a nice improvement for me because jumping from 6.12.41 to 6.16.x means I'll get a bump of the `xe` GPU driver which includes fan speed reporting for my Intel B580²!
