I think the next reboot might be in January, if I'm lucky and Intel decides to release an Arc B770/B780 Xe2 discrete GPU by then. (I'd like to swap the B580 into sundial for compute purposes and bump aquitaneng up a tier for a bit more performance headroom on more recent video games.)
I really appreciate how smooth Debian has made the major version upgrade process, the execution thereof as well as the pre-reading about package, config, and behaviour differences to expect. It's superb.

OK, so my next reboot of sundial might be sometime in Q1 rather than specifically in January, since *yelling directly at Intel* THERE IS STILL NO RELEASE DATE FOR A B770 But it looks like a professionally-oriented B70 model *will* offer a 32 Xe2 core BMG-G31 GPU with a projected release date of 2026 Q1. That will probably be a better fit for my use case anyhow.
