@emery@sunny.garden Oh wow! I never thought of reading it that way! This is the same feeling I had when I was I was in my early 20s and finally realized why time flies like an arrow but fruit flies like a banana.

@theotherbrook@sunny.garden I used to think the 'returns' were like investment returns, as in, may you get many presents on your birthday ;) but no, it's more like, may this day return to you with happiness. I ate the last banana this morning as part of a peanut butter sandwich; apologies to any fruit flies who hoped I'd let it ripen to their liking.
