@theotherbrook@sunny.garden I used to think the 'returns' were like investment returns, as in, may you get many presents on your birthday ;) but no, it's more like, may this day return to you with happiness.
I ate the last banana this morning as part of a peanut butter sandwich; apologies to any fruit flies who hoped I'd let it ripen to their liking.

@emery@sunny.garden Yeah, that's the way I always thought of the returns too and I figured it was just some weird-ass Tudor-era phrasing. Mmm. Now I'm wishing I had a banana to go with the peanut butter but we've drawn down the fruits and veggies before leaving for a few days.
