@kimlockhartga@beige.party @sam@social.coop I had two different medical transportation drivers playing Christian rock. Made me uncomfortable as an atheist, but it also seemed icky to be imposing your views on customers. Felt very hostile.

@AncTreat5358@lgbtqia.space @sam@social.coop I don't think anyone should have music or TV on anything that isn't really neutral. A car service place near me decided to stop showing FOX News, and instead show looping videos of life under the seas. It's so calming. I don't even want House Hunters on in the waiting room. And background music needs to be unobtrusive. We played contemporary easygoing Jazz when I worked at the bakery cafe. Only one person complained. She thought Jazz "wasn't very adult." 🫤
