Our institution has subscribed to copilot, and it embeds itself in Office in such a way that whenever I open up a word document it automatically, pre-populates an AI summary of it without asking me whether I want that or not. And it seems Microsoft don't allow this to be an opt out for subscribing institutions, so your choice is either: a) have your autonomy to decide if and when and where you want to use AI (or not) removed from you, or b) have it removed entirely. nothing inbetween.
