@zazzoo@mstdn.ca The bags was the same as I've experienced in the EU. There, the bags aren't sealed, the controls are similar. I think the sealed bags is the Cuban government way to ensure that it's making its cut of the sales

@zazzoo@mstdn.ca my partner had been there before in the 90's, and she said that in comparison, the availability of goods was much better back then. We stayed on a all inclusive where the Cuban National Judo Team was also staying in preparation for some competition, and the food availability was very limited in variety, but the hotel cooks tried very hard. The bar on the other hand was well stock with liquor and were very generous on their pours. Mint, lime, juice, other mixers weren't available often
