Because if the answer continues to be "no AI" then people will bail.
I already know the gnomers are flailing but that's a seperate but equally important convo (I tend to conflate, that's on me).

@jorge@hachyderm.io @deobald@fantastic.earth I agree that something needs to be done. I onboarded a friend a little while ago to Flathub, and then the policy changed halfway through. The app isn't "vibecoded", but if that policy were genuinely enforced the way it is written down (which, ofc, it is not) then it couldn't be published. Wish I had more time to work on Gatekeeper to try and speed this up, but I'm too busy with my dayjob.
