next #deltachat #ios version is coming with #liquidglass 🥛 thanks Amzd for the work. though frustrating being forced by #bigtech to do things that may not be loved and feel superfluous, it&#39;s wanted by many meanwhile. there are still some things to tweak, we created an issue at https://github.com/deltachat/deltachat-ios/issues/3157 . on-point help is welcome - and already ongoing thanks to some new contributors ❤️

@delta@chaos.social your app will still support iOS 18.x; correct? iOS 18.x is going to be the last iOS that I will be using for a while now. Liquid A$$, notwithstanding. There’s way too much Enshitification in 26 and 27 that even refinements of the UI is not enough, for me, to upgrade to that slopware.

@delta@chaos.social Yes! Personally I find it extremely annoying that apps don’t just stick with whatever the new design language is. Just go with it… it will change in a year anyway.

@delta@chaos.social I've finally gotten used to liquid glass in #IceCubes. Took a while for the novelty to just fade away to background "meh", as do all attempts at candying up a UI, eventually
