But I went to UC Davis and worked as an interpreter for an agricultural exchange program for a few summers, so I’m familiar with the rice farms in and around Woodland. I was so happy when my friend got me bags of Tamaki from the mill in Winters! They all work incredibly hard; my partner and I make this joke all the time 🙏

@agnes@pdx.social Yep, we've been buying Tamaki even though it's more expensive than Japanese imports. And your partner is of course correct. 👍️ I grew up in Salinas.
