I recently won an insurance denial. I talked to a number of people about it and I would estimate 60-70% of the assertions they made about how fighting a denial works were inaccurate. I don't know where people get the confidence

@grimalkina@mastodon.social I suspect the different experiences reflect the variety of different insurers / systems / treatments being fought for. I work as a consultant, mostly in the finance and insurance space, and the differences between organizations is dramatic, in some cases stunning.
