  Guy in a meeting said something normal and apologized for being “brutal.” I said “please be 100% brutal so we’re clear with each other.” I then told him his team was being unprofessional, showed lack of competence and unwillingness to learn.   @protonprivacy is offering to reserve an email address for my child for up to 15 years. It’s actually tempting. I wonder if she’d be able to use email on her own in a few years. Maybe she’d use that instead of yelling at us for food? It might be a moot point, I don’t expect her to develop opposable thumbs. #cats

  Apparently bipolar personality disorder awareness day is coming up, so my company mentioned it in one of its countless internal newsletters. They actually included a first-hand account of what it’s like, with practical examples. I’ve talked about leaving my disability Employee Resource Group before and I still think it’s unfair to expect disabled employees to constantly do The Work of educating others, but I have done it to - what felt like - good effect and appreciate when others are generous...
