@moonleay@mastodon.de No, but the downloads are spread out over a long period of time through our update client using a 6 hour interval for update checks. It ends up being 6-12 hours for idle devices due to how job scheduling works on Android. It tries not to wake up an idle device for anything and is allowed to delay the 6 hour interval by up to around 6 hours based on the default slack time. We can control we release updates per-device-model to stagger load and how we balance the load across servers.
