@beeps@social.beeps.gay as a person who has had several concussions and has also been very drunk at times, it's possible while in an altered state to metacognate and recognize that fact. But for someone else dealing with a child or elderly parent or stranger, figuring out what to do is easy. Are they too hot or is it just quite hot out? Cool them, give them fluids. Are they off or weird or drunken? Cool them, call an ambulance. Faffing around and playing bingo other symptoms is going to miss heat stroke.

@hakan_geijer@kolektiva.social Okay, but as I said before, the intent of the graphic is in recognising the symptoms in yourself, and having had several replies on it from people who realised they were having heat stroke because they stopped sweating seems to indicate that it's a useful sign.
