I've updated a couple of the user styles I've distributed before to be on GitHub Gists instead. This has the benefit of y'all being able to 'install' them (if using an extension like Stylus) and have them receive updates automatically. If I had £1 for every time a musician or YouTuber I pay attention to came out as trans this year, I'd have like... £15. It's happened a *lot*.

The Cabinet Office has banned the Civil Service LGBT+ network from attending Bristol Pride tomorrow, because Bristol Pride has publicly objected to the EHRC's transphobic guidance. I'm don’t think there's a single pride event in the country that doesn't disagree with the EHRC's guidance. Get with the programme, Cabinet Office.

I'm trying to collect together basic info on all of the brony meets and cons that are still running in the UK. Too many of them are now buried in impossible to find Discord servers, let's get some visibility on them! https://bronymeets.co.uk/

It’s Disability Pride Month and I suppose I should probably acknowledge now more than any other time of year that I’m an anxious, neurodivergent, sleep disordered and partially hard-of-hearing critter; and those aren’t things I should feel the need to compensate for.

I feel like this image might be useful for the non-furries this week. heat exhaustion = get to a cool place, drink water heat stroke = get medical attention

Question for furries: Is your favourite Pokémon based on the same kind of animal as your fursona (e.g. dragon fursona, favourite is Dragonite)? And if your fursona is a Pokémon, is that your favourite Pokémon?

I find this funny not just because of the failure of AI, but also the tacit admittance that Microsoft's market strategy is to embed themselves in something early on so that people become dependent, rather than doing that thing better so that people *want* to use them. https://www.windowslatest.com/2026/05/17/former-microsoft-vp-says-microsoft-missed-the-ai-wave-like-the-internet-and-mobile-as-copilot-scales-back-in-windows-11/

Crazy how they say it’s the autists who ‘need routine’ when it’s the neurotypicals who insist on having a 9-to-5, five day working week.

I wonder how many Americans know that their units are not the same as imperial units? 1 gallon US = 3,790 cm³ 1 gallon imperial = 4,546 cm³ 1 ton US = 2000 lbs = 907.18 kg 1 ton imperial = 2240 lbs = 1,016.05 kg 1 pint US = 473.18 mL 1 pint imperial = 568.26 mL Measures of length (inches, feet, miles) are the same today, but only after the US changed their definitions in 1958 to match the imperial system.

That Zoop app that sponsored Eurovision is actually a cryptocoin pretending to be a social network, by the way. Avoid.

Wow Estonia's Eurovision entry this year was a banger. Very Avril Lavigne. Shame it didn't qualify for the final.

:ying_think: Formlock TF but it isn't that you're stuck in one form for x amount of time, but that your transformation completes in x amount of time. Enjoy spending the next two years gradually becoming something else.

Chrome's recent bundling of Gemini with the browser was yet another browser feature that Google decided to ship against the explicit concern and opposition from standards bodies and other browser vendors. Google has repeatedly abused Chrome's market position to force specifications into existence, encourage developers to use them, and then advertise themselves as being better than other browsers because they support more stuff. It's really rather annoying that they kee...

I’ve seen this same graffiti (same symbols, colours, marker style and shape) in Bristol, Manchester and now Glasgow. Who’s doing this??

Ahh, another news story about a TERF claiming discrimination because a business didn’t want their custom. Funny how these people insist that safe spaces can only exist by excluding people, but when someone tries to create a safe space for trans people by excluding them, they complain.
