@kev@social.catastrophic.horse oh i totally agree. ive seen the original with tyrone power....there was just something off about the remake and i cant quite figure out what it is

@emily_rugburn@lgbtqia.space sometimes movies just don’t click! I haven’t finished it yet, but I sampled and was vibing a lot with the black & white version in the Criterion release. It does change up the feel significantly
