@ChrisInToots@thecanadian.social What happens when parties start using list candidature, that are accountable to no constituency but the party leader, as a mechanism for patronage? What happens when we have the situation of rich people functionally buying seats in parliament / caucus / cabinet? What does more Proportional Representation without those above mentioned caveats look like?
