It took another two days after the end of the thread linked above before Uncle's doctor's office finally sent a new prescription for glucose sensors to the supply company.
In the interim my uncle went to the CVS and tried to pick up the sensors from there, and he was unable to do so because CVS said the insurance company declined the claim CSV filed for them.
So we were once again stuck waiting for the supply company to process and ship the order.

Before I get into the weeds, bottom line up front: new glucose sensors were finally shipped to Uncle YESTERDAY, two months after the order was supposed to be shipped. Of course the supply company blames the insurance company for dragging their feet authorizing the shipment, and the insurance company blames the supply company for following the wrong procedures to get the order authorized. Uncle is caught in the middle and we have no way of knowing whose fault it really was. 3/?
