@snacktraces@hachyderm.io @lydiaschoch@mastodon.social A lot of them start up an FB or other page and then rarely update it, which is worse than having none at all as even if they leave it public (so you don't need login) but neglect it, you don't know if they are stil in business or gone bust (and might not want to travel a considerable distance to check)

@vfrmedia@social.tchncs.de @snacktraces@hachyderm.io A few weeks ago I tried to visit a small business that only had a Facebook page. After travelling 45 minutes get there, I found their business all boarded up. They’d shut down and never updated their page with the news. So disappointing.
