Struggling with idea of selling one of our two cars. Since retirement 5+ years ago, we don't drive either much (we're introverts and have a large garden and home maker space) and one - a hybrid - must be jump started if not driven for a few weeks. But the idea of not having "my" and "his" car is giving me the heebie jeebies, but we don't see a point in keeping a car to drive it four time a year just in case. But still really struggling. I can see how older people struggle to give up driving.

@nomdeb@mstdn.social Not exactly what you asked, but I gave up my car when I became fully disabled and it was unsafe for me to drive. At first it was a difficult pill to swallow, but now I appreciate not having gasoline, licensing, repairs, and storage costs on a fixed income.
