The old Bo Diddley tune emerged from someone's subconscious in a jam session. Craig recorded his vocals that day, they later added an electric guitar to make the song bearable, and it became Australia's number one single of the year.

The sports doyenne, who can talk as assuredly on opera as he can on judo or rowing, suggested that the BBC use "Nessun dorma" for its football coverage. The BBC used "Nessun dorma" for its football shows. The chosen version was this 1972 waxing by Luciano Pavarotti. Pav, along with fellow tenors Placido Domingo and José Carreras, planned a concert in Rome for early July. Could be fun. #TOTP #LucianoPavarotti #Pavarotti
