Oh my word, this is even worse than i remembered. If Martine was gloopy, this is like wading through thick treacle right up to your waist.
It is possible to cover ABBA in the spirit of ABBA - Channel 5 will show a Björn Again concert after "Night Fever". Westside cover ABBA in the spirit of cynicism; what their vocals don't destroy is ruined by the gospel choir.

"Bring it all back" - S Club 7 Ah, this is more like it. Peter, Janet, Pam, Barbara, Jack, Colin, and George have brought their living room to the studio, just like Madness did. They're stage school kids sent out to California, and told not to come back until they can manufacture a hit single. Sure, it's cynical. Sure, it's derivative and predictable and cute and utterly wonderful. Like the sun breaking through after a bad spell of rain. #TOTP #SClub7
