@ryan@m29.us look at it another way: deliberately crippling the open-source version to charge for a proprietary solution to your artificial problem is extremely scummy, and anyhow dont use anubis its obnoxious to every user

@hsza@social.tudbut.de @ryan@m29.us i fail to see how a catgirl is “deliberately crippling”? her presence doesn’t cause your computer display to spontaneously combust and your cpu to prolapse.. the site will still load if you aren’t a bot or hacker, and besides, if your company is so far up its own ass that your employees will simply melt like ice cream in a pizza oven at the mere *thought* of a cat girl you most likely have the revenue to fork over 50 bucks a month because bills and wages aren’t cheap

@hsza@social.tudbut.de @ryan@m29.us it's not crippled, they offer the ability to rebrand your copy and add some corporate stuff. Corporate users who want this can pay and help the open source project survive instead of sponging off their work. Also it's open source, you could change the branding (note, I haven't looked at the licence)
