Forced myself to watch the National Forum. There was a massive 🐘 in the room, unsurprisingly; this was highlighted by the announcement that the wonderful Nyadol Nyuon is leaving Australia, with her 2 children. She described anger and grief for the country she loves but cannot stay in. 💔

@sisterratched@social.vivaldi.net Exactly, a pipe dream, unless we deal with our racism. I heard elsewhere that Nyadol Nyuon was leaving. 💔 I saw the first few minutes of the forum. Might be mistaken, I think when Speers first introduced the panel, he didn’t say her name. He said something like ‘community representatives.’ I gave up at that point
