@kagan@wandering.shop How about Canada? If you are an American citizen, you don't need visa: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/entry-requirements-country.html#american-traveller A plane or a ship is not necessary either. 🙂

@user21t@mastodon.bsd.cafe @kagan@wandering.shop These guidelines are for visitors, not workers/residence. But you can technically live in Canada for 6 months (tbh probably 1 yr bc you can extend your visitor record from w/in Canada) while working remotely for a US business (as long as they don't operate in Canada). However, you would probably still need ties to the US to show that you intend to return at the end of your visitor's stay. Also, you'll have no health insurance.
