@kagan Good luck! Hopefully you will soon be able to just enjoy your treasures!!

@kagan Sounds about normal. When I finally moved my stuff out of storage in California up to Canada, I think it took me like 3 months to unpack...

@CoolerPseudonym YAY!

Post #3094583
@kagan I think they would be too busy marveling at spreadsheets and relational databases.

@nev Do you want to look cute or bro-y? I can give bro-tank advice only...
-
Post #3094577
@nev For cutting a bro-tank, I actually like to keep the crew neck bc I think it looks butcher (& a bit less work). On the arms, actually taking time to measure and mark so they are even helps. Or also, you can cut little ties into the side & then customize how "open" it is (tho that is a bit more feminine, I guess??)

@alex :blobcataww: Wow! So pretty!

@CoolerPseudonym I'm so paranoid about this now that for any political stuff, I just put a 555 number.
-
Post #2529352
@CoolerPseudonym It is somehow worse in Canada. They campaign on an issue & circulate something that seems like a petition that they (as a your actual current sitting MP) are going to present in parliament, ie: their JOB. But it is actually just their fucking mailing list. Genuinely disgusting tactic that must drive disengagement... :blobcatreeeeeee:

@CoolerPseudonym We can still use the Latin, I guess??
-
Post #2529350
@CoolerPseudonym Yeah. I feel like it is a good middle ground; the Greek would be too pretentious? And it "sounds" like what it means in a way? Like the P sounds are walking in a circle.

@CoolerPseudonym hemhem *I* think about the Etruscans.

Post #2529348
Still thinking about this guy from the Emma Goldman episode of Murdoch Mysteries. 13/10 scene-chewing performance.
-
Post #2529347
@CoolerPseudonym Yeah, it's clear the machine is broken, which is kind of annoying bc like... what is the point of political parties otherwise??

@CoolerPseudonym I am on a month-to-month lease, where my landlord could raise my rent whenever. You BET I am giving them 12 postdated checks each year lol

@CoolerPseudonym I tryyyyyyyyy so hard with all of my clients to get them to answer their forms (and also to put on the thank you page when someone should expect a response...)

@alex Yeah, plus being a small market over a wide area naturally leads to monopolies that exert influence on regs. Same w/ groceries, etc etc etc.
