@astro_jcm@mastodon.online I can't judge. I used to imagine the inside of the 107-inch telescope dome at McDonald Observatory was the decks of the Nostromo from "Alien". It was kind of built around that time -- had a very similar hardware vibe. Also all the angles in a dome are crazy, and of course, it's dark with red lights a lot of the time. Spooky, in a fun way!
