Idk if either of you have the energy for it, but I implore you to reach out to journalists if you do.
Erin in the morning is obviously a safe one for us. But also try The New Yorker. They've been really affirming of trans people and telling our stories.
I think we all need to be louder. Because even inside the community, I'm not hearing many stories like this, and I know they're out there.
We need the general public to hear our cries.

@CordiallyChloe@tech.lgbt i certainly didn't have energy for it at the time. Now that it's been a year...maybe. but I also dont think people really get how insidious it is when it happens. Technically, I was offered a choice: I could redo all my paperwork and check the M box or I could lose my credential. I refused to check the M box. I just don't know if cis people would be sympathetic to that position and it would look like my fault to them. @aizuchi@hachyderm.io @oldladyplays@wargamers.social
