@allpurposemat@mastodon.gamedev.place @thelinuxEXP@mastodon.social Thunderbird with mobile-config-thunderbird works. Opening the emails is a bit clunky. You have to double tap to actually open them. For maps you can also use the desktop organic maps from Flathub. Also a bit clunky to use and you'd best scale it down in phosh. I hope Gnome Maps improves in the future. Downloading raster tiles for offline navigation is set to release soon which is great.

  • @katzenmann@c3d2.social Hrm, Thunderbird does sound nice. When I tried mobile-config-thunderbird (or even just raw Thunderbird), selecting an email would "open" it to a blank screen. I will try it again tho, as that was a couple months ago. Regarding Organic Maps (well, CoMaps now), I did try the Flathub version but the UI did not appear to work with touch. I'm on Plasma Mobile now instead of Phosh, maybe better luck? I'll give it a shot :) GNOME Maps is nice, but sadly the freezing makes it a no for me…
