@Melezioh@mstdn.games most trans men i know are significantly more normal than most cis men i know. i presume it's because they're usually not encouraged from a young age to be terrible people by everything in society?

@mjdxp@labyrinth.zone I mean yea. It probably has to do with many of us grew up being subjects of misogyny rather than benefiting from patriarchy. Also being trans, we understand otherwise being marginalized so it’s a different perspective on life. Cis hetero white guys are used to being in power and benefitting from patriarchy. Just my thoughts. Edit: at the end of the day we just need to hold men accountable rather than just saying they are inherently evil or bad because of hormones or anything else.

@mjdxp@labyrinth.zone @Melezioh@mstdn.games There's definitely a lot of pressure on trans men to conform once we come out, because our masculinity is held up to closer scrutiny, but most of us are trying to do better
