@rolle@mementomori.social Sounds weird, to say the least. 😲 This is the first time I hear that self-boosting might be considered appropriate even in social media. But I have been here only 7 months (tomorrow) and not aquainted with the modern boasting and glowing etiquettes. Sounds ominously like marketing, but maybe it's just me and my old-school manners?

@lupposofi@mastodontti.fi @rolle@mementomori.social Why do we treat folks who share their humor online like they constantly owe us new material? That’s a dynamic I don’t get. You don’t hear people screaming “YOU ALREADY DID THAT ON YOUR TV SPECIAL” at comedians during their shows. And they’re getting *paid* to recycle their stuff.
