@lupposofi@mastodontti.fi @rolle@mementomori.social Why do we treat folks who share their humor online like they constantly owe us new material? That’s a dynamic I don’t get. You don’t hear people screaming “YOU ALREADY DID THAT ON YOUR TV SPECIAL” at comedians during their shows. And they’re getting *paid* to recycle their stuff.

@adhdeanasl@beige.party @rolle@mementomori.social Yes, good shows are wonderful, and true skill always admirable. But what does it have to do with Mastodon-like social media presence? Of course here are professionals too, but mostly us plain folk who enjoy each other's company and ideas, and don't try to show off. Nobody has to shine every day or week, and a lack of boosts might truly starve only an attention addict. But everybody feel free to recycle, if you feel something you did is worth it. 🤗
