Once Scotland's left the UK, there will be no such thing as 'UK politics'. It will shake the Westminster system up big time, which just might give the folk who still want Westminster to be their parliament a chance to rethink how to make it properly serve the population it's supposed to represent

@Cyclist@mastodon.scot @picandocodigo@mastodon.online Given how politicians work everywhere, it would make the remaining politicians more British nationalist, probably even more English nationalist, since they have no reason to restrain themselves to please Scottish voters. The only way to make a politician really rethink how they serve the population is remove his seat from under his bottom.
