Andy Burnham says he wants to give back hope to the country...and is going to announce plans to extract more oil and gas from the north sea. That certainly doesn't fill me with hope Political power is too centralised, he says, and needs to be devolved away from Westminster (No, not you, Scotland). So, more of the same, then Scotland really needs to get out of this mess #ScottishIndependence #UKPolitics

The sparrows are fed up of hanging out in the rain. The woodshed has been turned into a party house for this washout summer. Zoom in - there's hunners of them! #Scotland #IslandLife

RE: https://climatejustice.social/@GeofCox/116307140974025648 Every cut that takes away our social spaces helps the far right. One of the biggest acts of rebellion we can carry out is to do anything that helps connect folk within our local communities #TimeForChange

We knew a gale was heading our way yesterday, then the flood warning came out, but no one told us this was going to happen. Hoping all the local ewes managed to hold off from lambing last night #StormDave #Snow #IslandLife

We went to Iona during the week. I've been several times before, but never walked to the south end of the island. We got to the old marble quarry. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it definitely wasn't this. Amazing to see the old rusting machinery that was abandoned. It was quite eerie! #Iona #Scotland #IslandLife
