@solitarywalker@writing.exchange if only an LED could be powered in-line with power to the camera. I know, science fiction stuff, but a guy can fantasise.

@wordsmith@writing.exchange That's simpler but still solves the wrong problem. The real problem is the camera being on when it shouldn't be, not the user's awareness of that situation. I have Dell and Framework laptops with a hardware switch.
