@GeekmomK@infosec.exchange I do get why it was so hard to see it. It's one of the things we've been trying to say and not being heard on - one of the ways this place is not Twitter?
There is no broadcast.
You can't force people to hear you.
People can and *will* tune you out liberally, willfully, and you won't have any way around it. There's no algorithm pushing engagement by forcing them to see it. It doesn't *matter* if someone I follow chooses to engage; I won't see it. The filters here *work*.

@GeekmomK@infosec.exchange So the whole "CW is about making it opt-in and not opt-out" thing that everyone's been clutching their pearls over? That's because if you force it to be opt-out, fine. You can do that. And then when people opt-out, it's game over. No more interaction. No engagement. No voice reaching those people, ever. The thing about CW being opt-in is, most people *do*. But when you take away their choice, fuck you, you lose. For example, I blocked the passive-aggressive person who started this.
