I know you; you know me; I *know* you don't mean this to be anything but positive and helpful.
But fucking hell is it anger-making.
The communities here were, by and large, marginalized groups. Queer and trans people. Furries. Socialists. Anarchists. Nerds. Weirdos. Artists. Yep, it was predominantly white, especially in the biggest instances, and technically male, though less than people think.
You hope we develop a CoC, a social contract for behavior?
Fucking hell.

@GeekmomK@infosec.exchange @Deglassco@mastodon.social You know what I first loved about the Fediverse? I never once had to push a community here to develop a CoC. Never once had to explain the idea. Hell, the one I use now as a template whenever I have to help someone create one? Got it here. A social contract for behavior? We had one. It wasn't perfect, but it worked a hell of a lot better than any other social media. Until you lot broke it because you didn't understand it and refused to listen.
