I know what "verschlimmbessern" actually means but out of habit I hit the translate function for the post and it spit out: > The English language does not know "vibe coding", which is why it says "vibe coding" instead. That's... next level. Is there some kind of SEO hack going around that I have missed?

    @jochie@strangeweb.page @jschauma@mstdn.social IPhone translation seems… at best confused. In tusker, I get the same ‘whole-post’ translation as you do. (“Vibe coding”) But get a very different experience if translating a selection from each. (Attachments with alt text. Context: as a non-speaker, I’m likely missing something obvious about why this doesn’t translate well.) HT @jpmens@mastodon.social for the boost.
