I know you had your heart set on joining the Astrophysics community on Mastodon, but perhaps it is time to explore new interests. Admit it, you’ve always been curious about Morris Dancing. Or maybe you want to connect to your Inner Furry. On Mastodon you can!
If you can’t find a good fit, there are a few large servers that accept new members, such as Gehenna.online and Sheol.social. But you may find it difficult later to leave.

Whoo, you’ve done it. You now have signed up with a server. Be forewarned that many servers are struggling with the mass influx of new users. It may take awhile for hardware to be updated from raspberry pi to a CP/M powerhouse. Be patient. You can access Mastodon on the web or an app on your phone. These are available for popular devices like Zune and Blackberry. The support for flip phones remains limited. 6/11
